Save the date for our Spring Recital!
FAQ's
What about online students?
You will participate by recording video of your performance to be played during the recital. And my hope is that you'll be able to tune in and watch the recital from home with a zoom.us conference call or a youtube livestream. More details will be coming your way in the coming weeks.
Who can come?
For many students in the studio, this will be your first formal piano performance, so please feel free to invite family & friends to attend or tune in to watch. I love having a good audience to cheer on each student's efforts.
Click here to find out more about why I think piano recitals are so important.
How can I help my child with stage fright?
If in the course of preparing for the recital, your piano kid is dealing with some performance nerves or stage fright, you'll want to check out the post from earlier in February all about turning nerves into positive performance energy.
Piano is ending for the school year already?!
If you're feeling a little bummed that this session of lessons will be ending, don't worry! The studio will be closed the month of May to give everyone a little breathing room with All School's Day in McPherson & all the graduations and other year-end activities. But you can start right back up the first week of June with MAPTL's Espressivo Piano Camp, and then jump into our summer session for June & July. Enrollment for summer opens to the public next week, so stay tuned on the Dawn's Piano social media channels for more info.
- When: Saturday, April 27th at 1:30 pm
- Where: The recital will be hosted at the Free Methodist Church at 1010 S Maple St, McPherson. To tune in online, head over to our Facebook Event for details.
