Fall 2017 Musical Masquerade
Recitals are wonderful moments for students, parents and teachers alike. And we like our fall masquerade recital to feel like a party so we are truly celebrating music together. To find out more about why we love these performance opportunities so much, check out our blog post on the importance of piano recitals.
Attendees at a masquerade can dress formally or come in costume! So this is an excellent time to get some further use out of those Halloween costumes before they go back in the box, or to dress up in your finest as we celebrate with musical performances, light refreshments and some photo booth fun!
What you need to know:
Because we have a large studio, and we like to keep performances under an hour, we will have a few different showtimes, so please check with your teacher to find out
when you should plan to arrive.
The recital will be held in the Donald R. Wright Auditorium of the Pasadena Central Library at
(They have a beautiful Steinway piano for us to use!)
Don't forget to bring your sheet music with you, just in case.
If you would like to bring a light refreshment to share, please do! Just remember to stick to easy finger foods and packaged drinks or small water bottles.
The library is very gracious in allowing us to use the meeting room, and we want them to welcome us back again in the future. They do ask that we try not to be too loud as we enter and exit through the main library atrium, and that we leave the parking lot open for library patrons. There is free parking on the weekends in the Phoenix University lot (adjacent to the library lot), as well as metered street parking.
We can't wait to see you all there and celebrate another year of making music together!
